Role Overview
The Elementary Teacher is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering course content in an online environment for Alabama Destinations Career Academy (ALDCA), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous instruction
- Differentiate instruction based on student mastery
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized testing
- Travel occasionally for professional development and testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Alabama Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Ability to clear background check
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office

This is a full-time, remote position with occasional travel within Alabama. Start date is July 2026.
