Role Overview
College Board is seeking an Engineer IV to contribute across the full stack with a primary focus on backend systems while supporting frontend development for BigFuture higher education products. This is a full-time, fully remote role within the United States, with optional hybrid work near select offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations using cloud-native and serverless patterns.
- Contribute to frontend development using React and Next.js to deliver accessible, high-quality user experiences.
- Collaborate with product, design, and architecture partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Champion Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, security, testing, and documentation best practices.
- Mentor teammates and participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of production software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, distributed systems, API development, and AWS serverless technologies.
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks including React and Next.js.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Additional Information
