Lead the strategy and roadmap for developer-facing education content that helps developers build with Claude, partnering closely with product, engineering, and DevRel.
Role Overview
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. Anthropic’s Ministry of Education exists to help people and organizations develop genuine fluency with AI. As Developer Education Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for how developers learn to build with Claude, working at the intersection of DevRel, product, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the developer education content roadmap across video, written, and course formats
- Partner with product and engineering teams on launches so features ship with education content and documentation
- Collaborate with DevRel on YouTube strategy, community content, and developer programs (e.g., ambassador programs, public certifications)
- Manage and coordinate with video producers, technical writers, and contractors to execute the roadmap
- Conduct ongoing content audits to update, remove, and add content as Claude’s capabilities evolve
- Define and track content performance metrics focused on adoption, activation, and fluency gains
- Work with cross-functional teams in MoE, marketing and product to reach developer audiences
Requirements
- 5+ years in developer content strategy, developer education, DevRel, or technical content leadership
- Experience owning a content roadmap end-to-end and building systems for prioritizing, producing, and measuring content at scale
- Comfortable working across engineering, product, marketing, and community teams
- Technical expectations: using and testing developer tools in workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Location-based hybrid policy: staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time

- Annual Salary: $290,000 - $365,000 USD
