Role Overview
The Senior Data Insights Officer plays a key role in using data, insight and research to improve student experience and service delivery at King’s College London. Working across core digital products, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the King’s Student App and AI-enabled tools, the role generates high-quality insights to support evidence-informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex quantitative and qualitative datasets to monitor institutional KPIs.
- Produce clear reports and insight outputs for stakeholders across the university.
- Analyse student feedback and support institutional survey analysis.
- Work closely with Digital Product, UX and Student Services teams.
- Support evidence-led innovation and strategic initiatives such as the Single View of Students.
Requirements
- Experience cleaning and analysing large or complex datasets.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, Microsoft Power BI and Nvivo.
- Ability to communicate insights to a range of stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance.
