Role Overview

College Board is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and evolve shared platform capabilities for its Core Assessment Platform. This is a mission-driven role supporting large-scale, trusted education systems used by millions of learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native software solutions across the full stack.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional partners to translate ideas into production-ready systems.
  • Apply Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to ensure reliable, maintainable delivery.
  • Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and production support.
  • Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of production software development experience across the full feature lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel 3-5 times per year to NYC or Reston, VA.
