Role Overview
ApplyBoard is seeking a highly analytical Associate Support Manager – Compliance to strengthen fraud prevention and application integrity across the student lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate suspicious student applications, documents, and behavioral patterns
- Build and refine fraud detection models, rule sets, and risk indicators
- Review flagged cases and determine appropriate compliance actions
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and immigration regulations
- Partner with Product, Data, Operations, and Support teams
- Create dashboards and reporting to track fraud rates and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Criminology, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years experience in Compliance, Risk, Fraud Detection, or Investigations
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills
- Experience reviewing documents for inconsistencies or manipulation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EdTech, immigration, financial risk, or Trust & Safety
- Exposure to fraud detection models and risk scoring
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data visualization dashboards
