Role Overview
As a Senior Unified Communications Engineer within GW Information Technology, this role is a recognized subject matter expert instrumental in enhancing the digital experience for faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, engineering, implementation, and maintenance of unified communication platforms.
- Manage lifecycle of UC technologies including upgrades and migrations.
- Optimize provisioning and configuration using automation and scripting.
- Monitor UC platform health, performance, and usage analytics.
- Develop integrations and automate workflows using APIs and scripting.
- Collaborate with IT peers, departments, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years experience or Master’s plus 3 years.
- Experience with enterprise-scale Unified Communications solutions.
- Expertise in VoIP protocols, networking, and UC platforms.
- Automation and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell).
