Role Overview
Handshake is seeking Math PhDs to contribute to AI research by evaluating AI-generated mathematical content through a flexible, hourly contract role. This is a fully remote, project-based opportunity designed to fit alongside academic or industry work.
Key Responsibilities
- Design rigorous, domain-relevant mathematics questions
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical consistency, and mathematical rigor
- Provide feedback to improve AI reasoning and proof construction
Requirements
- Doctoral student or graduate in Mathematics or closely related field
- Strong background in advanced mathematics, proof-writing, and formal logic
- No prior AI experience required
Additional Information
Fully remote within the United States with a flexible, asynchronous schedule. Most contributors work approximately 5–20 hours per week when projects are active.
