Role Overview
The High School Special Education Teacher delivers online instruction to students in grades 9-12, supporting individualized learning aligned to each student’s IEP.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide special education services and instruction in a virtual environment
- Develop and manage compliant IEPs and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and service providers
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Facilitate IEP meetings and ensure required accommodations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active South Carolina Special Education teaching certification (9-12)
- Residency in South Carolina
- Ability to work full time in a remote home office
Additional Information
This is a full-time, virtual position with occasional travel for professional development and student testing.
