Role Overview
The remote Middle School Health/PE Teacher delivers online instruction to students in grades 8-12, supporting individualized learning through a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Differentiate instruction based on student mastery
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active state teaching license (Health/PE)
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote position with preference for Texas residents. Occasional travel is required.
