Leads the design and scaling of AI-forward curriculum programs while managing teams and strategic projects for Girls Who Code.
Role Overview
The Senior Manager of Curriculum reports to the Director of Curriculum and builds project-based, AI-forward curricula that inspires girls, female-identifying, and non-binary students to become changemakers in tech. The role supports direct-to-student learning experiences and manages curriculum portfolios and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Own curriculum design and development for a highly visible strategic project from planning through launch.
- Manage curricular projects and maintenance for existing programs and future platform expansion.
- Translate curriculum maps into scope and sequences, project plans, and development roadmaps.
- Manage and support a small team of curriculum consultants.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech, Research, Programs, Marketing, and Development.
- Represent the Curriculum team in cross-functional and external education events.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing computer science or STEAM curriculum.
- At least 2 years managing or supervising others.
- Teaching experience with grades 6-12 or college-aged students.
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks such as UDL and Project-Based Learning.
- Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and computer science education.
Additional Information
Compensation range: $97,000 - $121,000 per year.
