Role Overview
The High School Social Studies Teacher (9-12) delivers state-aligned instruction in an online environment, supporting students and families to achieve academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous instruction in Social Studies
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/Learning Coaches
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Maintain grades, reports, and academic integrity
- Travel occasionally for testing and school events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and six months of student teaching experience
- Ohio State Social Studies teaching license
- Residency in Ohio
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office
