The Remote Middle School Math Teacher delivers math instruction in an online K–12 environment for West Virginia Virtual Academy, a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Differentiate instruction and personalize learning
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized testing
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active state teaching license (Math)
- Ability to obtain West Virginia certification reciprocity
- Ability to clear background check
Additional Information
This is a full-time remote position, typically working 40+ hours per week from a home office.
