Role Overview

As a Senior Account Executive at Instructure, you will drive new business growth and expand existing relationships within a defined territory, selling Instructure’s education technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across K-12, Higher Education, or Corporate Learning sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close.
  • Present and articulate the value of Instructure products such as Canvas LMS and MasteryConnect.
  • Build relationships with senior education leaders and decision-makers.
  • Forecast sales opportunities using CRM tools like Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in enterprise software sales, preferably EdTech.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas and manage complex deals.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
