Role Overview
The Secondary Spanish Teacher delivers online Spanish instruction to K-12 students in a virtual environment for West Virginia Virtual Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous Spanish instruction online
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 learning management systems
- Differentiate instruction and personalize learning
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license with Spanish certification
- Ability to obtain West Virginia reciprocity within 60 days
- Ability to pass background checks

This is a full-time remote position, typically working 40+ hours per week during school hours.
