Role Overview
The Elementary School Assistant Academic Administrator supports Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan by directing and coordinating educational, administrative, and counseling activities in a virtual K-12 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local standards
- Supervise and evaluate teaching staff
- Develop and oversee the Student Achievement Improvement Plan
- Coordinate compliance related to attendance, engagement, and special programs
- Manage teacher performance and professional development
Requirements
- Michigan Teaching Certification
- School Administrator certificate
- Master's degree with five years of educational experience or equivalent
- Residency in Michigan
- Ability to travel up to 20%
