Role Overview
As the VP, Head of Technology, you will be the primary architect and engineering leader for a high-growth business division at Wiley, leading AI-powered data platforms and enterprise SaaS delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design architecture to ingest and merge massive-scale public and proprietary datasets.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering workflows using tools like Cursor and Claude.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-grade SaaS products.
- Manage cloud-native infrastructure across AWS or Azure.
- Lead and mentor global and offshore engineering teams.
- Partner with business leadership to align technical roadmaps with strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience building large-scale data pipelines.
- Hands-on familiarity with LLMs and AI developer productivity tools.
- Experience managing distributed or offshore teams.
- Expertise in cloud data platforms, vector databases, and IaC.
- Experience delivering SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR/CCPA compliant systems.
