Role Overview
Guild is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Tax Manager to lead and manage tax operations with a strong emphasis on indirect taxes. This role supports a distributed workforce across eligible U.S. states.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee sales and use tax compliance, registrations, filings, audits, and reconciliations.
- Manage local tax requirements and coordinate with third-party providers.
- Lead quarterly and annual tax provision process under ASC 740.
- Ensure timely preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Monitor tax legislation and support tax planning and M&A activities.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Finance, and external advisors.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of tax experience with public accounting and industry exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, MST, or equivalent credential.
- In-depth knowledge of sales & use tax and ASC 740.
