Cato Rolea is the Assistant Director for Digital Transformation at Ecctis, a UK-based provider of international education services and the designated national agency for the recognition and evaluation of qualifications and skills. With over ten years in the field, he has led projects in student mobility, transnational education, digital transformation, and quality assurance in higher education. At Nottingham Trent University, he expanded the institution’s reach across Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East. Cato is also the founder of UniGlobal Careers, where he developed an AI-powered Career Toolkit to support international education professionals. His work centres on blending innovation and emerging technology adoption with ethical practices.

Dr Vangelis Tsiligkiris

Author and Professor of International Education

Vangelis Tsiligkiris is a Professor of International Education at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, with over 20 years of experience in higher education. He founded the TNE Hub, an international research and practice community, and has advised governments and international organisations on higher education policy. Vangelis has led large-scale transnational education partnerships, online programmes, and global capacity-building projects. His research focuses on TNE models, student mobility, and internationalisation strategies, contributing to academic scholarship and policy development. A technology enthusiast, he has studied FinTech at the University of Oxford and Artificial Intelligence at Nottingham Trent University.
