Role Overview
Microsoft Elevate Japan is seeking an Account Executive to lead digital transformation initiatives for K-12 education institutions across Japan. The role focuses on building long-term partnerships, driving AI-enabled solutions, and supporting secure, modern learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow high-priority K-12 education customer accounts.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives aligned with Japan’s K-12 education policies.
- Build executive-level relationships and long-term customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver Microsoft’s value proposition.
- Orchestrate internal and external resources to maximize customer outcomes.
- Manage complex solution proposals, negotiations, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in public sector or education account management and consultative sales.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese.
- Deep understanding of Japan’s K-12 market and procurement practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years’ experience in public sector or education account management.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 Education, Security, Intune, Entra, and Copilot for Education.
- Experience leading change management and educator skilling programs.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
