Supports and administers Canvas LMS modules for higher education partners, ensuring high-quality learner experiences across programmes.
Role Overview
The E-Learning Administrator supports the smooth operation of Learning Management System (LMS) processes for FutureLearn’s Higher Education Services, working closely with university partners across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, launch, and maintain academic modules on the Canvas LMS.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and student groups on Canvas.
- Coordinate module creation with Content Development and stakeholders.
- Monitor LMS automations and integrations with associated systems.
- Update and maintain accurate module content and resources.
- Set up discussions, formative and summative assessments.
- Manage live session content and recordings.
- Provide second-level technical support for the Canvas LMS.
Requirements
- Experience as an LMS administrator in Higher Education or OPM.
- Hands-on experience with Canvas LMS preferred.
- Understanding of Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
