This role focuses on fraud detection, risk analysis, and compliance operations to protect the integrity of international student applications on ApplyBoard’s platform.

Role Overview

ApplyBoard is seeking a highly analytical Associate Support Manager – Compliance to strengthen fraud prevention and application integrity across the student lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate suspicious student applications, documents, and behavioral patterns
  • Build and refine fraud detection models, rule sets, and risk indicators
  • Review flagged cases and determine appropriate compliance actions
  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and immigration regulations
  • Partner with Product, Data, Operations, and Support teams
  • Create dashboards and reporting to track fraud rates and outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Criminology, Finance, or related field
  • 3–6 years experience in Compliance, Risk, Fraud Detection, or Investigations
  • Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills
  • Experience reviewing documents for inconsistencies or manipulation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in EdTech, immigration, financial risk, or Trust & Safety
  • Exposure to fraud detection models and risk scoring
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data visualization dashboards
