Role Overview
The remote Middle School Math Teacher delivers math instruction to grades 5–8 students in an online environment for Insight School of Washington, a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized testing
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active state teaching license (Math, Grades 5–8)
- Ability to clear background check
- Residency in Washington or within 50 miles of state border
