Role Overview
Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist UX Designer (Senior level) to design engaging, user-centered digital learning experiences for higher education products. The role focuses on end-to-end product design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and shaping AI-enabled learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Create high-fidelity designs, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Contribute to and scale the product design system with accessibility in mind
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing
- Lead design for complex product areas and full user journeys
- Collaborate with product, content, research, and engineering teams
- Mentor junior designers and facilitate design workshops
- Design AI-driven teaching and learning experiences with ethical considerations
Requirements
- 5–8 years of product or UX design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and design craft
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams
- Comfortable designing both interfaces and scalable design systems
