Role Overview
The Middle School Social Studies Teacher delivers engaging online instruction to students in grades 6–8, supporting individualized learning and academic progress in a virtual school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Monitor and assess student progress using the learning management system
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Maintain regular communication with students and families
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Oklahoma Middle School Social Studies Teaching Certification
- Residency in Oklahoma
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office
