Role Overview

Edmonds College seeks an Instructional Designer to collaborate with faculty and staff to develop engaging online and hybrid courses with an emphasis on AI and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality online modules, courses, and trainings.
  • Consult with faculty on instructional design, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Research and integrate emerging educational technologies, including AI and AR/VR.
  • Create and maintain multimedia and training materials.
  • Facilitate professional development in online and hybrid pedagogy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
  • Two years of online or hybrid teaching experience.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred).
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
