Role Overview
Edmonds College seeks an Instructional Designer to collaborate with faculty and staff to develop engaging online and hybrid courses with an emphasis on AI and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality online modules, courses, and trainings.
- Consult with faculty on instructional design, accessibility, and quality standards.
- Research and integrate emerging educational technologies, including AI and AR/VR.
- Create and maintain multimedia and training materials.
- Facilitate professional development in online and hybrid pedagogy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
- Two years of online or hybrid teaching experience.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred).
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
