Role Overview
Benchmark Education Company is seeking a Tech Lead - DevOps Engineering to lead and shape the DevOps practice, focusing on developer experience, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD across cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction and priorities for the DevOps Engineering team.
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Build reusable infrastructure frameworks using AWS-native services.
- Improve developer experience through self-service environments and tooling.
- Collaborate with architects, security, SREs, and application teams.
- Provide mentorship and champion DevOps best practices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
- Expert proficiency with AWS services and GitHub Actions.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code.
