Role Overview
The High School Math Teacher is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering math instruction in an online environment for Legends Virtual Academy, a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 systems
- Maintain gradebooks and prepare students for standardized tests
- Communicate regularly with students and parents
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Alabama Secondary Math Teaching Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote position starting July 2026. Teachers typically work from home with occasional required travel.
