Role Overview
The Product Design Manager leads a team of designers within College Board’s Scoring & Reporting domain, shaping experiences across assessment scoring, reporting, and educator and student insights. The role focuses on building a design practice that supports mission-critical assessment products with increasing use of AI-assisted workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4–6 product designers.
- Define design vision, priorities, and standards across scoring and reporting platforms.
- Partner with product, engineering, data science, and psychometrics teams.
- Guide design strategy for complex socio-technical and AI-assisted systems.
- Champion inclusive, accessible, and high-quality design practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product design.
- 3+ years in a design leadership or management role.
- Experience leading design in complex, high-stakes environments.

This is a full-time, fully remote role in the United States, with optional hybrid work near College Board offices.
