Role Overview
Wiley is seeking a dynamic Deputy Editor to support the open-access journal Advanced NanoBiomed Research within the Material Science & Physics - Health/Bio cluster. The role focuses on strategic journal development, peer review management, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically develop one or more journals with the Editor-in-Chief.
- Manage editorial evaluation, peer review, and manuscript decisions.
- Establish and maintain networks of authors, reviewers, and board members.
- Represent Wiley at conferences and outreach activities.
- Collaborate across departments to develop the journal portfolio.
Requirements
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of scientific publishing and peer review.
- Excellent communication, organization, and networking skills.
- Interest in open access and science communication.
