Role Overview
The High School Social Studies Teacher is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering engaging online instruction to Alabama students through Stride K12’s virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Monitor and assess student progress using the LMS
- Differentiate instruction and personalize learning
- Maintain gradebooks and academic integrity
- Communicate regularly with students and parents
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active Alabama Secondary Social Studies Teaching Certificate
- Ability to pass background check
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote role based in Alabama with occasional in-person travel for testing and professional development. Start date is July 2026.
