Role Overview
The remote Middle School Math Teacher delivers math instruction to grades 5-8 students in an online learning environment for Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Differentiate instruction based on student mastery
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license (Math Grades 5-8)
- Ability to obtain Indiana certification reciprocity
- Ability to pass background checks
