Role Overview
Brightwheel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and ship AI-powered systems that support go-to-market teams and product experiences in early education.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI-powered systems for sales, marketing, support, and customer success.
- Build AI agents and workflows to guide preschools from first contact to stable use.
- Create functional user experiences and internal tools.
- Instrument products and iterate based on metrics like enrollment growth and time saved.
- Shape data and system architecture for longitudinal AI-driven insights.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products using LLMs in production.
- Hands-on experience with prompt design, RAG, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Backend experience with modern web stacks and relational databases.
- Frontend experience with React or similar frameworks.
