Role Overview
Ellucian is a global leader in education technology, supporting higher education institutions with an AI-powered SaaS platform. The Sales Development Rep (SDR) supports field sales by generating and qualifying leads, managing opportunities, and engaging higher education prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage qualified sales opportunities for the field sales team
- Research and engage higher education prospects using demand generation tactics
- Coordinate meetings and demos between prospects and sales teams
- Understand customer technology needs, strategy, and competitive landscape
- Meet or exceed assigned quotas for leads and opportunities
