Role Overview
Kiddom is seeking a Spanish-fluent Editorial QA Specialist and Copy Editor to review and improve AI-generated translations of educational content. This contract role focuses on ensuring linguistic accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance in machine-translated materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Review machine-translated English to Spanish documents for accuracy and clarity
- Revise translations to ensure fidelity to original meaning and Kiddom’s style
- Flag inconsistencies, unclear phrasing, and terminology mismatches
- Maintain high throughput while meeting quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve translation nuances
Requirements
- Native or near-native Spanish fluency
- Strong English reading comprehension
- Experience in translation, editing, or localization
- Comfort with machine translation tools and digital workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
