Role Overview

The Instructional Designer develops high-quality, engaging educational experiences aligned with program outcomes and instructional best practices. The role manages course development processes and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure effective, learner-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage course design and development for new and existing courses
  • Design engaging, objective-driven learning experiences
  • Apply evidence-based instructional design and accessibility best practices
  • Collaborate with faculty and cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate and revise curricular materials and assessments
  • Conduct quality assurance and continuous improvement reviews
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and risks

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory
  • Experience with curriculum development and course design
  • Project management and collaboration skills
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years professional instructional design experience
