Role Overview
The Instructional Designer develops high-quality, engaging educational experiences aligned with program outcomes and instructional best practices. The role manages course development processes and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure effective, learner-centered design.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage course design and development for new and existing courses
- Design engaging, objective-driven learning experiences
- Apply evidence-based instructional design and accessibility best practices
- Collaborate with faculty and cross-functional teams
- Evaluate and revise curricular materials and assessments
- Conduct quality assurance and continuous improvement reviews
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and risks
Requirements
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory
- Experience with curriculum development and course design
- Project management and collaboration skills
- Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years professional instructional design experience
