Role Overview
The High School Math Teacher (Grades 9-12) delivers certified math instruction in a full-time online environment for Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Monitor and support student progress using the learning management system
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Maintain gradebooks, submit grades, and ensure academic integrity
- Collaborate with families, learning coaches, and school staff
- Travel occasionally for testing and school functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and six months of student teaching experience
- Ohio High School Math certification (Integrated Math preferred)
- Residency in Ohio
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office
