The remote Elementary/Middle School English Teacher delivers state-aligned instruction in an online environment for West Virginia Virtual Academy (WVVA), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 systems
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license (WV or reciprocity within 60 days)
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to work full-time remotely with a professional home office
