Role Overview
General Education High focuses on K12-powered virtual high schools serving grades 9-12. The High School Math Teacher delivers online instruction, supports students and families, and monitors academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and learning coaches
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Differentiate instruction based on student mastery
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Maintain accurate grade books and academic integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Missouri High School Math Teaching Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Residency in Missouri (preferred)
- Ability to work remotely with occasional travel
