Role Overview
The Remote CTE Teacher in the Bioscience and Healthcare pathway delivers online instruction to K–12 students for Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress using the learning management system
- Maintain gradebooks and prepare students for standardized tests
- Communicate regularly with students and parents
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active state teaching license (Indiana or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- CTE Health Careers, Life Science, Biology certification, or LPN/RN
- Ability to clear background check
