Role Overview
The Middle School Math Teacher delivers online instruction for grades 6-8 at Missouri Digital Academy (MODA), a Stride K12 partner school. The role focuses on personalized virtual learning, student progress monitoring, and strong family engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 learning management systems
- Differentiate instruction based on student mastery
- Maintain grade books and ensure academic integrity
- Communicate regularly with students and learning coaches/parents
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Participate in required travel for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Missouri Middle School Math Teaching Certification or ability to obtain MO licensure within 60 days
- Must reside in Missouri (surrounding states may be considered)
- Ability to clear required background check
