Role Overview
As an Associate Forward Deployed Engineer at Handshake, you will work alongside senior engineers and customers to design, prototype, and deploy impactful AI-driven solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering with direct customer engagement in fast-paced, real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AI labs and internal teams to gather requirements and support solution design.
- Prototype and deploy tailored solutions addressing high-impact customer challenges.
- Tackle complex technical problems with guidance from senior engineers.
- Iterate rapidly on tools based on real-time customer feedback.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and best practices.
- Document solutions and create technical playbooks.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, requiring five days per week in the office.
