Role Overview
PowerSchool is seeking an experienced sales business development professional to create a portfolio of new education and workforce solution business over the next 3-5 years. The role focuses on state and ministry government relationships and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead state or ministry government level sales business development across US and international regions.
- Develop trust-based relationships with government officials and education leaders.
- Own multi-year new business pursuits from discovery to close.
- Develop annual revenue plans and execute state/ministry account strategies.
- Collaborate with alliance partners, resellers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing.
- 10+ years of sales business development experience in government or regulated markets.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, data, AI, and EdTech.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated base compensation range: $124,000 - $156,800 USD, plus comprehensive benefits.
