Role Overview
The Elementary School Teacher is a state-certified educator delivering online instruction for Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy, a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 LMS
- Communicate regularly with students and families
- Prepare students for standardized assessments
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Michigan Teaching Certification with Elementary endorsement
- Bachelor's degree
- Residency in Michigan
- Ability to pass background check
