Role Overview
The remote Middle School/High School PE Teacher is a state-certified educator delivering online Physical Education instruction for grades 8–12 through Digital Academy of Texas (DATX), a Stride K12 partner school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online PE instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 learning management system
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Maintain grade books and prepare students for standardized testing
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Travel occasionally for testing, professional development, and school events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active state teaching license (Health/PE grades 8–12)
- Ability to pass required background check
- Ability to work full-time from a professional home office
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote position for the 2026–2027 school year. Texas residents are strongly preferred.
