Role Overview

Guild is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Tax Manager to lead and manage tax operations with a strong emphasis on indirect taxes. This role supports a distributed workforce across eligible U.S. states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales and use tax compliance, registrations, filings, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Manage local tax requirements and coordinate with third-party providers.
  • Lead quarterly and annual tax provision process under ASC 740.
  • Ensure timely preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Monitor tax legislation and support tax planning and M&A activities.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Finance, and external advisors.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of tax experience with public accounting and industry exposure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, MST, or equivalent credential.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales & use tax and ASC 740.
