Role Overview

Coursera is seeking a Director, Global Compensation to lead the design, execution, and governance of global compensation programs across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. This fully remote role reports to the VP, Global Total Rewards & Operations and plays a key leadership role within People Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global compensation strategy, programs, and governance.
  • Oversee salary structures, variable pay, equity guidelines, and job architecture.
  • Manage global compensation cycles, benchmarking, and analytics.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and senior leaders.
  • Ensure global compliance and internal pay equity.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of global HR, Total Rewards, or Compensation experience.
  • 5+ years of compensation leadership experience.
  • Public company experience required.
  • Expertise with Workday Advanced Compensation.
