Role Overview
The remote Middle School Science Teacher is a state-certified educator responsible for delivering online instruction for grades 5-8. The role focuses on personalized learning, student engagement, and progress monitoring using Stride K12 systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous online instruction
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12 LMS
- Maintain grade books and prepare students for standardized testing
- Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches
- Travel occasionally for testing and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license (Indiana or reciprocity within 60 days)
- Ability to clear background check
