Role Overview
The Strategic Engagement Manager – AI Solutions drives adoption of Elsevier AI Solutions across major academic, government, and research institutions, partnering with sales and supporting long-term customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and drive adoption of Elsevier AI solutions at national and consortia levels
- Partner with Account Managers during sales as the AI technical expert
- Deliver tailored demos, proposals, and AI-related RFP responses
- Support post-sale customer satisfaction and long-term engagement
- Advise on market trends, policy, and standards in academic and research AI
Requirements
- Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or Doctorate)
- 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML consulting or complex SaaS pre-sales
- Strong technical acumen in AI/ML solutions and SaaS platforms
- Excellent communication and consultative sales skills
- Familiarity with academic or government workflows
