Role Overview

The University of Greater Manchester seeks a Senior IT Systems Developer to lead the design, development and integration of digital systems supporting academic partnerships and off-campus provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development and integration of digital systems supporting partnership delivery and academic operations.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled solutions and automation within a governed higher education context.
  • Support and enhance websites and virtual learning environments, including Moodle.
  • Ensure systems meet data security, resilience, auditability and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with academic, quality, data and governance colleagues to translate needs into technical solutions.
